Every fish, with the conditions that caught it
Log species, length, weight, photo, GPS position, depth, bait and method in under a minute. Baycast adds the wind, gusts, water and air temperature, barometric pressure, tide stage and moon from the nearest NOAA station for the moment you caught it.
Weeks later you'll know it was a falling tide, 9 knots out of the southeast and 72° water, not just "a good day."
Enter a length and Baycast tells you if a redfish, trout, black drum or flounder is inside the Texas slot.
Upload from your phone on the water. We strip hidden location data from every photo and only you can see them.
Personal bests by species and a full CSV download whenever you want it.
Your spots, marked to the foot
Drop a waypoint where the fish were, from your phone's GPS or a tap on the map. Add depth, type (grass flat, reef, drop-off, drain) and notes. Pro unlocks 33 curated Coastal Bend spots with coordinates, typical depths, access and the best season.
Every catch and waypoint sits on one map, so the spot that produced last fall is one tap away.
Export all your waypoints and catch locations as a GPX file for Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird or Navionics.
Curated public spots from Baffin Bay to Port O'Connor, each with access notes and a local tip.
Free accounts save 5 waypoints. Pro saves as many as you want, and nobody else ever sees them.
See the depth before you run
Switch the map to NOAA's official nautical chart for depth soundings, channels, markers and reefs, or to satellite imagery to read grass, sand and potholes on the flats.
Spot guts, channel edges and spoil-bank drops where trout and reds stage.
See shallow reefs and flats before you're on top of them, especially in Baffin Bay and the back lakes.
Satellite view shows grass beds, sand pockets and potholes that are hard to see from the boat.
Know where the marked channels run before the wind comes up.
Fish the right day, the right way
The planner scores the next 7 days for your bay from the NWS forecast, with wind, gusts, rain chance and tide changes side by side. Save a trip with a checklist and game plan. Your stats show which baits, tides, winds, times and water temperatures actually produce for you.
Each day gets a 0–100 score from wind, gusts and rain, so you can trade a choppy Saturday for a calm Sunday.
A ready-made trip checklist (license, life jackets, float plan, bait, ice) you can edit for every trip.
Bar charts of catches by bait, tide stage, wind, time of day, water temperature, pressure, depth, spot and month.
The more you log, the clearer it gets which conditions to wait for and which to skip.
Membership FAQ
Who can see my spots, catches and photos?
Only you. Your waypoints, catch locations and photos are private to your account. We never share or publish them, and we remove hidden location data from photos when you upload.
Where do the wind, tide and water temperature come from?
From the NOAA tide and weather station nearest your catch, for the date and time you enter. If a station is offline at that time, the catch saves without that reading.
Does it work on my phone on the water?
Yes. The members area works in any phone browser. Add it to your home screen for one-tap access. You need a signal to save a catch; your phone's GPS fills in the position.
Can I load my waypoints into my fish finder?
Yes. Pro exports a GPX file of your waypoints and catch locations, which Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird, Navionics and most mapping apps can import.
Is the chart layer safe for navigation?
It shows NOAA's nautical chart for planning. It is not a substitute for a current chart, your GPS and depth finder, or local knowledge. Conditions and shoals change.
How do I cancel?
Open Account, then Manage billing. You can cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, update your card and download receipts there. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get my data out?
Anytime. Download your full catch log as a CSV, and your waypoints as GPX on Pro.
